Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is frequently under recognized in its early stages, limiting opportunities for timely intervention and prevention. This session focuses on enhancing clinicians’ knowledge and clinical decision-making related to early identification of AKI. Participants will review risk factors, early physiologic indicators, and limitations of traditional diagnostic markers such as serum creatinine and urine output. Emerging tools, including biomarkers and real-time monitoring technologies, will be introduced to support earlier detection and improved patient outcomes.
